One of my new favourite walks in Canberra, like others have said don't visit after rain due to the trail becoming very muddy.

If you plan on walking keep an eye out for BMX riders, they come flying down with a total disregard and could easily take you out.

Can get a bit chilly with a breeze so prepare for that. Also prepare for the very steep ascent at the end to reach the top with the views.

There is a section where you share with some cattle, so be on the lookout...

I recently hiked to One Tree Hill Lookout and was blown away by the experience. The sunset from the lookout is the best I've ever seen, casting stunning colors over the landscape. The walk to the lookout is long and scenic, adding to the adventure. Though you have to walk through a private property for about a minute, it’s well worth it for the breathtaking views. I enjoy the One Tree Hill when I am in the mood for something relatively easy while still being out in nature. The trail is relatively flat the whole way except for the last bit just before you reach the summit but even then the incline is moderate and short.

It's a really nice walk for after work or during the weekend and takes you past a few different sceneries. Worth a visit if you haven't...
