Tucked away in the historic Village of Hall, ACT, this cafΓ© is a true gem that is not just your everyday small town coffee shop. It captures the essence of country charm - character, warmth, friendliness and its very own history, run by a local family who have been in the area for generations. The atmosphere is steeped in character, with nods to its heritage that give the space a timeless feel - with a menu and service that is second to none.
The coffee here is nothing short of exceptional. Smooth, and crafted with real care. The food equally impressive: fresh, hearty, and beautifully presented, striking the perfect balance between comfort and quality. I moved to the area 9 months ago, and this place is my morning coffee stop on the way to work, and at least once for breakfast on weekends. If you are around and you stop in, you are in for a real treat - I recommend the following dishes: 'Sons have a say' and their Carrot Cake (which is homemade) is total perfection.

Mmmmmm As if this was not enough, the MAMILs and MAWILs began to arrive after their health ride from upper Aranda and Hawker Heights. No problem, we learned our lesson. Daughters at Hall is not the place for a quiet cup of coffee on a Friday morning. I won't mention the smell of cooking oil, that was so good to leave behind, in the crowded noisy space that offered so much...
