These markets have a really nice atmosphere and a country community feel. The rural setting makes it very enjoyable to walk around and take things in. Definitely a good place to catch up with some friends for a coffee. In fact, you can even bring your dog along!
These markets are only run on the 1st Sunday of each month so I recommend going for a look when you can. These markets usually open at 10am and close around 3pm on the Sundays that they are running. There is a 20 cent entry fee, which I am pretty sure is a donation to Hartley Lifecare. Not a big deal and its nice to be charitable.
At these markets you can expect a great variety of stalls that contain things such as foods, toys, clothes, jewelry, dog treats, meats, fruit and vege, pastries and coffee (amongst other things). Most items I looked at were a reasonable price and the coffee was good!
The markets are fairly spread out and on dirt ground so be prepared for some light walking over uneven ground. Its not a bit deal but something to consider for wheelchair access, especially if it is raining. Actually, if it is raining, bring some boots too.
There are public toilets available so no need to panic if the urge arises!
There is plenty of parking but you might need to walk a little...

Today for the first time in a year hall Markets was held again. We got there just before 10am and it was quiet. But 2 hours later it was buzzing with actively. Jumping castles, fresh food, arts and crafts. And best of all local people enjoying each other's companies. So many people with puppies it's such a joy There were some gaps today in the stalls but it was still great. I know my 6 year old daughter missed seeing the ponies this time. But we hope for next month.
I'm so glad this...
Read moreI wanted to like this more than I did. I'm definitely glad I went, but I won't be hurrying back. I'd rather visit Hall on a non-market day and enjoy the...
