Cool little spot and board walk, the pole statue at the end has an eagle and it's big eagle nest on it which would be great for photography. Good little spot to cast a line and fish, can sometimes catch bream and flathead, and many other species. Just be cautious of a few things. The rocks are quite sharp, and the board walk is pretty slippery when wet or raining, so take it easy. It also has a slant and uneven part in the board walk, so watch out for that. The board walk could definitely use some maintenance. The midges are pretty bad down there also so bring some repellent. Otherwise, it's a great little place for a walk and a little exploring 😊 there is a nearby carpark with plenty of parking, which includes regular and trailer parking bays as there is a boatramp there. The car park also has toilets and disability parking right...

This spot is a favourite place of ours to take young kids and (leashed) dogs. Younger kids feel safer in the calm water and thanks to the shark net. The beach itself is small, but there's heaps of space in the water.

It is also a favourite spot for birthday parties, thanks to the undercover area, toilets and bbq's.

There's a great boardwalk walk as well. There is a small playground but there is no shade cover so it is usually too hot to actually use during the summer unfortunately. I'd also take your own soap and/or sanitizer as there is none in the toilets.

There is also a boat ramp nearby, however, it is away from the...

I had been wanting to stop here for ages because it looks like such a beautiful walk from the road. It didn’t disappoint!

Along the boardwalk you can peer over the side and catch the different crabs racing into the safety of their homes as you walk past.

There are birds and insects singing their song and at the end of the walk, a little beach to enjoy the scenery some more.

It was a little sad to see a great big ugly tractor on it...

My son really liked the local bird that lives here - he was very interested in him!

We’ll...

Nice short easy walk from car park to board walk's end looking at the mangroves and water. Good for all ages. Saw some Sea Eagles,Seagulls, small Crabs and fish. Facilities: Car and boat/trailer parking. Toilets. Wheelchair access until end of the board walk where it goes onto land.
