Thanks to the hard working volunteers who founded this Museum in 1961, you will find just about every aspect of human invention, interaction with the land and with each other. You could easily while away a whole day in this expansive, maze like tribute to human history. Pat the dog, pat the cat on your way around the dozens of excellently presented exhibitions. Read moreThe museum is fantastic, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. There are toilets inside catering for wheelchair access also. Those in wheelchairs will muss out on seeing some things up close as some of the buildings are original and the doorways are very narrow. The overall experience should not be detracted by this. It is over an acre of Museum and well worth the visit. The entry price covers you for the whole Day, so you can come and go as you please, which would be awesome if you wanted to have some lunch or go for a coffee in one of the great cafe's close by. I am looking forward to going again and spending the day. The video presentations in various rooms were awesome to watch and listen to.
