The sand dunes were amazing and beautiful and the kids had a good time but it was only for the last 20 mins of the 1 hour I rented the boards.

The sandboards that were for rental, it is left on a table for you to pick once you have paid. However, if you are like me and have no experience with sandboarding, you would have just picked up 2 boards.

The boards I first picked up, were scratched up and had exposed wood at the back. As a result, when my family and I did not manage to slide down the sand for the 3 attempts we tried. As a result, we went back to the counter and got them exchanged.

My issue is, why are such damaged boards even given as options? If they cannot be maintained then they shouls be discarded.

Once we exchanged the boards, we only had 20 mins left and so we finally went up and this time, we had a good time.

If not for the defective boards, I would have rated...

Once in a lifetime experience! This is where you can have a desert feel without traveling all the way to the Middle East to experience it.

I used the Waze app to navigate from Perth to Lancelin Sand Dunes, which takes about 90 minutes. Be sure to check the weather before you depart to avoid disappointment.

You can park your car right after you arrive at the sand dunes. The parking space is open, and you may park near the sandboard, bike, buggy, or quad-bike rental store and rent from there.

The sands are fine and can easily get into your pockets, shoes, and socks. We chose to wear our covered shoes to the sandboarding area and remove them there as we spotted scattered glass while walking. Take note of this to avoid injuring yourself before enjoying sandboarding.

We spent an hour there and felt exhausted, as it's quite tiring to carry your sandboard up and slide down after a...

I have been to this place during the day and night and during the sunsets... this place is beautiful all the time... but if you are a fan of night skies and astrophotography... visit this place during late December when there is no moon, no wind and no dew.... especially when the temperatures are really high like 40°C during the day cuz that ensures cloudless and windless nights... I was there on one of the nights and didn't check the weather before heading there... though it was bright with moonlight which was really beautiful and it felt like we were on a different planet.... due to the strong winds blowing sands everywhere left us with sands in every folds of our skin even inside of our clothes 😅. There was not a pore or fold of our skin which didn't have grains of...

大概玩一小時就完全沒力了,但是體驗這個白色沙漠真的很有趣,要注意滑板最好找光滑的,如果可以記得打蠟,不然摩擦力太大了
