The sand dunes were amazing and beautiful and the kids had a good time but it was only for the last 20 mins of the 1 hour I rented the boards.
The sandboards that were for rental, it is left on a table for you to pick once you have paid. However, if you are like me and have no experience with sandboarding, you would have just picked up 2 boards.
The boards I first picked up, were scratched up and had exposed wood at the back. As a result, when my family and I did not manage to slide down the sand for the 3 attempts we tried. As a result, we went back to the counter and got them exchanged.
My issue is, why are such damaged boards even given as options? If they cannot be maintained then they shouls be discarded.
Once we exchanged the boards, we only had 20 mins left and so we finally went up and this time, we had a good time.

You can park your car right after you arrive at the sand dunes. The parking space is open, and you may park near the sandboard, bike, buggy, or quad-bike rental store and rent from there.
The sands are fine and can easily get into your pockets, shoes, and socks. We chose to wear our covered shoes to the sandboarding area and remove them there as we spotted scattered glass while walking. Take note of this to avoid injuring yourself before enjoying sandboarding.
