Recently visited Bracey Lookout which has a view over the Lithgow township. Previous reviews have mentioned the road to this lookout being in poor condition… I did not experience any issue getting to the lookout with my 4WD. Please note that currently the road is dirt / broken road. I did notice they had council roadwork machinery in the area… maybe they are repairing the road now. Attached are photos showing the lookout area.

Road is not well maintained. I would avoid taking a low clearance vehicle. Not a great view. The trees have grown, limiting the visibility to the town below. Lots of potential. There is a nice pagoda to the right though. Looks like a lot of fun exploring with little adventurous ones.

Road is not well maintained. I would avoid taking a low clearance vehicle. Not a great view. The trees have grown, limiting the visibility to the town below. Lots of potential. There is a nice pagoda to the right though. Looks like a lot of fun exploring with little adventurous ones.

Shocking section of tarred road which was badly broken up. We were about to turn back when we found the road was fully sealed just around the bend near the lookout. The lookout was very disappointing as the trees blocked the view. Not suggesting to cut the trees but the road in makes it...
