I can not recommend D'Angelo's highly enough. The staff are very professional and friendly. The owner always says hello which adds to the quality. To me it shows that they really care about their guests. The food is always spot on and delicious. I have read the negative reviews and I really don't agree as we have been here many times at different times of the day and we have always had an awesome experience. For home cooked Italian food and the best wine around with that hint of Italy definitely give D'Angelo's a go. I have never been disappointed and I really don't think you will be either. If something isn't right Sabrina is always accommodating and always wanting to meet and exceed your expectations.
Oh to Nichola who made a comment about k-mart cups, if you are really going to do review at least get your facts right. The cups are actually from Robert Gordon a local pottery maker/supplier, the plates are from K-mart. But if you are so worried about what is under the plate you seem like the person who really couldn't appreciate what is on top of the plate and what is in...
Read moreWe came in a large group on a packed Sunday, that also included a Hen’s do, two Christmas events and every table full.
Everything on the menu is prepared fresh in the kitchen and it comes out fast, even on a full capacity day.
Particular credit to the owner/FOH manager (I wish I’d asked her name). Our table ordered some DELICIOUS polenta chips with aioli. Very slightly too salty, but our table still loved them. She saw that they weren’t being prepared in the kitchen to her very exacting standards and decided to very apologetically pull them from every table and give each table a free bottle of wine instead (not ONE bottle. One for every plate that was ordered per table).
This woman has passion for what she’s doing!
It’s not table service (when we were there), the bar can get backed up a tiny bit and the live music is probably a little too loud for a dining experience, but this is an unexpected gem on the outskirts...
Read moreWas very excited to try this place but was a bit disappointed. Advertised as a winery but there was no option to sit outdoors, and the indoors were very dark with too many overhead fans and was very loud (not helped by a mediocre cover band). The menu was very limited with all mains having the same sauce, pizzas were not able to be ordered as entrees either everything had to come out at once. Mains were not seasoned, had to ask for salt & pepper which were just a couple of packets, however quite nice. Wine list was good, however ordered a bottle & it was just put on table, you'd think a winery would at least pour you a glass. We went for a special occasion, planning to spend a couple of hours but were in & out within an hour. Not sure it would be classed as your typical winery, just zero atmosphere & nowhere to enjoy...
