Frankston beach is very beautiful, and has wide and open spectacular views of Oliver's hill to the left and flat long soft sandy beaches towards Seaford to the right. Shallow and a shade of aqua blue crystal clear waters on a good sunny day. Water temperatures can reach about 20c or so degrees in summer and 8c degrees in winter. There are lots of seahorses and fish life to be seen if you are snorkelling and freediving. Be aware of severe weather warnings which cause rough waves despite shallow areas, and water pollution can worsen in extreme weather. Wait 1-3 clear days before entering this beach after very heavy rainfall. Let's do our part in saving the ocean. Research what you and your friends and family can do to clean up our beautiful home beaches. Always dive and snorkel and swim with a buddy, and take your rubbish with you. Jet skis are a huge problem here and are a pesky problem that affects fishing, swimming and other activities. Please take extra care and report to police if you see hooning jetskis (it is illegal to ride jetskis above the speed limit while leaving and entering the canal at Kananook creek, and jetskis doing illegal "donuting" circles and riding at high speeds at unpredictable manners should be reported to police. Take note of their number on the side of the jetski. It is also illegal to beach jetskis in the no vessel area to the left of the pier. Alert lifeguards in summer if you can't see identifying information on...

If you're looking for a kid-friendly beach in Melbourne that isn't too crowded, then this one might be right up your alley. During the week, it was relatively quiet, and parking was a breeze. Although I've heard that it can get busier during summer and hot sunny days, like most beaches in Melbourne.

One of the best things about this beach is the ample seating and grassy areas, perfect for picnics with your loved ones. There are plenty of benches and tables to sit and eat at, which is always a bonus when you're spending a day at the beach. Additionally, there are two main spots right on the beach (with plenty more places to choose from a short walk away) where you can order food and drinks, making it convenient for families with young children.

One of the highlights of this beach is the stunning view of Melbourne City across the water. On a clear day, you can see the cityscape in all its glory, which makes for an excellent backdrop for those all-important beach selfies.

Overall, if you're looking for a relaxed day out with family and friends, this beach is an excellent choice. a short walk away of space, beautiful views, and easy access. It's a great place to soak up the sun and enjoy all that Melbourne's beaches...

Frankston Beach is a delightful gem along the Mornington Peninsula, offering a truly picturesque experience. The beach itself is wonderfully maintained, with clean, golden sands that stretch invitingly along the shoreline. One of the highlights of my visit was the breathtaking sunset. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the sky was painted with a stunning array of colors, creating a mesmerizing view that was both serene and awe-inspiring. The calm waters are perfect for a relaxing swim, and the gentle waves make it suitable for all ages. Additionally, the amenities available, including well-kept restrooms and nearby cafes, add to the convenience and enjoyment of the visit. Overall, Frankston Beach is an ideal destination for anyone looking to unwind and take in the natural beauty. Whether you're there for a leisurely day by the sea or to capture the spectacular sunset, it promises an experience that is both refreshing and memorable.
