How did I miss this park?! I suspect it's because my wandering in this area was focused on the other side of the Eastern Freeway, but it recently jumped out at me on the map as one I hadn't visited so (though it looked small) I made the time. It's terrific. And it's larger than it looks. The trails meander around it, thoughtfully placed and well maintained. There are toilets, BBQ areas, sporting areas, a really terrific playground, small wetlands and a creek that runs through it. There's parking at a couple of entry points and an off-leash area. It's not a giant national park (just a suburban green space) but it's a gem.

This park is great, huge with a variety of different areas. The trees and grass areas are lovely for picnic. Big playground for kids, even caters for kids with disabilities. Track all around, foorball, basketball, running until flying a kite! BBQs available. Toilets available. Easy to access, catch the bus 200 or 207 will pass this park. Down Kilby Rd Kew / Kew East and you can get off and walk to the park easily. If you drive, parking is available, easy and free. It will be nice family day!

Newly upgraded! The kids had a lovely time exploring the park with water play, sand pit, timber fort, slides, rope climbing, and various other activities. There is a wonderful grassy area for picnics and a bird watching look out over the wetlands. When the kids are bored of the park, there is a nice, flat gravel track which goes around the reserve, for walking/jogging or riding your bike around. For added exercise there is a fitness equipment park nearby

Hays Paddock is a beautiful park with lots for little ones of all ages. It reminds me of the parks I had when I was younger.

Our review is only 4 stars because our experience was tainted by a horrible Mr Whippy van (violet colour). The lady manning the van was extremely rude and the ice creams were worse than McDonalds and cost an outrageous $5. This meant that I could only buy one with the money in my wallet. Since I knew that I had money in th car to buy another one I told her I would be back shortly. After sprinting across the park (since the van driver scoffed and said she’d be leaving quickly) I returned to see her pulling out of the car park. Horrible customer service. We’ll be back to this park, but that lady is not getting...

Great play space for young kids, especially with the upgrade! We hosted a birthday here, using one of the shaded tables within the fenced playground. There are 2 - a long table and a smaller table next to each other - and there are a few other tables scattered outside the fence. Toilet block is close by, large open grass area nearby, basketball ring close by. Fortunately a worker looking after the bins came past as we were setting up in the morning, and he dropped us an extra wheely bin. So handy not having to shuttle all our rubbish home. My only gripe is the number of wasps that were around. They were hovering all over our table of food and making it very uncomfortable. Not sure if there was a nest nearby or if it's a...

Good for kids under 18. Beware there is an archery club, they are not really doing the safety work. There is no fence or clear sign or rope to seperate with other park user. And they only put signs on one side of the entrance of the park which we didn't know they are here or supposed to be here because we came from the other side of the park. And it is also not safe because dogs or anyone could go near there boards because they are doing on a open grass area without anything in between. Otherwise this park is good, they have toilets, lots disability parking, good playground, open grass area, drinking fountain, sand pit, pond, chairs in...
