Mount Martha Beach is one of my absolute favourite spots on the Peninsula. Every time I visit, I’m blown away by how clean and soft the sand is—it genuinely feels like walking on powder. The beach is always well-kept, with no litter in sight, which makes it such a relaxing and peaceful place to spend the day. The view from the beach is just stunning. You get this perfect combination of turquoise water, cliffs in the distance, and colourful beach boxes that give the whole area a really unique charm. Whether you're lying back soaking in the sun, going for a swim, or just sitting on the sand watching the waves roll in, it’s hard not to feel completely at ease here. I’ve been here solo and with friends, and it’s perfect either way. There’s something really special about this beach—it’s never too crowded, and every visit feels like a mini escape. Mount Martha Beach truly captures the beauty of the Mornington Peninsula, and I can't recommend it enough!

One of the fee beaches which has no sea weed and less waves. Perfect sand beach for kids and family to chill. The beach and change rooms and cafes around. Would definitely try to go there again. One thing which I am not sure of is if the beach has barbecue stations around? If anyone knows pls let me know.

Golden sandy beach with a small car park. Colourful bathing boxes on the Northern/Right of the beach add colour and character. A small lagoon in slightly from the beach offers a safe place for kids to paddle that is usually warmer than Port Philip Bay.

Decent beach. Parking - parking is hard to find especially on a weekend. Beach - beach area was nice and some sections had public showers so that you can wash off that excess sand. The sand is full of rocks and seashells so it makes it hard to walk around the shallow area. Keep in mind if you have kids. You can walk a little bit further in the water as there is a sand bar where the water is not deep and the sand is fine with no rocks...

My favourite beach in the Melbourne area. The Mornington Peninsula side of the bay has much nicer beaches than the Bellarine Peninsula side of the bay and Mt Martha has one of the nicest beaches in all of the Mornington Peninsula.

I try to get down to Mt Martha at least once every summer, even though I live well over an...
