The Stables Shopping Centre — Attraction in Melbourne

I go here now and then. I had my nails done at pink nails for my wedding and loved them. I also take my little one to vision @millpark optometrist here every 6 month's, the staff are 10/10. We always go to the charcoal chicken on that side of the SC near the domino's and it's my fave charcoal chicken around, and we also go to all round coffee for cookies, icecream etc and honestly my fave coffee place around here and that's saying something because I usually hate barista coffee haha. It's a nice little place. I DON'T reccomend the tattoo shop there (king of hearts). Had my first tattoo there 8years ago on my shoulder blade, they stencilled the design on, I was happy with it, but then they tattood it completely different, I unfortunately couldn't see till it was done due to it's location. Plus he was constantly taking smoke breaks, was gross, stunk like a chain smoker (I don't smoke) I've had much better experiences with other proper artists...

Apart from some fantastic local businesses in the complex, unfortunately I am appalled at the lack of cleanliness in and around the common grounds. The last 6 months I have found (on four seperate occasions) used syringes scattered around the Carpark and grass areas. My 5 year old almpst stepped on one as she got out of the car the other night. I have tried to find a contact number for the centre management to file a complaint but surprise surprise, I cannot find one. I understand you cannot control certain citizens from littering but have a cleaning contract in place and take pride in your facilities! If I continue to see the complex is the state of disarray it is in, I will be shopping elsewhere. I feel sorry for the shop keepers who pay God knows how much rent and risk losing customers over the negligence...

We went early to avoid crowding inside the store but left soon after beginning our shop as congestion increased. The staff were clearly stressed and finding it hard to cope constantly calling for help at the checkouts while we were there. Anyway it was around 9.30am and there seemed to be no control over the number of people who entered the building, I also noticed several people not bothering to scan the QR code as they entered, needless to say that I will not return here while we are dealing with covid restrictions. Otherwise the shop is very well set out and normally an enjoyable place to visit and buy...
