Well this wasn't my first time here, but I couldn't have been here more than a handful of times. It is a Buddhist place of worship which my partner's family frequents. Probably the 2nd biggest temple I've been to in Australia and has all the standard temple things; scenic, idyllic environment, Giant sculptures bigger than people in every nook and cranny, those tall towers which aren't decorative and do have a purpose but can only be accessed using the stairs, head shaven monks chanting in their yellow monastery cloaks, fish ponds that were obviously once remarkable but are now showing signs of neglect... And then there are features you should had known but never thought a temple to have. Like a communal kitchen and grand dining hall, private parking lot and public toilets. My last visit was not a happy occasion; a funeral for my partner's Grandmother. But during that experience, I can confirm that they are following the advice of Victoria's Chief Health Officer in regards to the...

Beautiful temple. Can't believe it's close to me and I only just visited. I had the deep feeling that I needed to go to temple so bought some incense and lit my joss sticks there. It's super cool and it really feels like you're in Asia. It's a Vietnamese temple but also has the Thai/ Chinese feel to it. Great sculptures, gardens and architecture. Don't forget to take your shoes off when you say hi to Buddha, and don't let the soles of your feet face Buddha if you go into the worship room. Oh, and apparently they do food downstairs in the function area too ... I didn't get a...

This is a Vietnamese Buddhism temple. It’s open for everyone that share the same belief and respect for Buddhism. Such a great peaceful place to come for some quiet time for medication. The gardens are beautiful and amazing surrounded by a lot of different Buddha statues. They do Vietnamese classes, Buddhist Youth Group ( Gia Dinh Phat Tu) and Vovinam (Vietnamese martial arts) on the weekends. Sometimes they do give out free vegetarian food. It’s very delicious. They have a little shop to sell some Buddhism materials like wristbands, key...

Drove by a Vietnamese Temple today & I couldn't resist not going into the temple to pray to budda for everyone to have a better & prosperous year than 2022, Nomore war. For Chinese New Year 2023 I wish we all get our health back, get healthier and be happy. The Vietnamese Temple garden looks beautiful & well maintained with big, great statues, buildings & views. Ever want to be at a peaceful place or meditate? Come and and do it under a tree or inside the temple, I'm sure you'll all be welcome 🙏
