Lala’s Food Joint — Restaurant in Melbourne

I had an excellent experience in Lala’s food joint in Fawkner. The food was top-notch, with each item bursting with flavory and clearly made from fresh ingredients. I particularly loved their [specific item, chicken wings lala’s burger, fries, grilled chicken which was perfectly cooked and delicious.

The service was quick and efficient, even during a busy time. The owner named Waqas Bahi and the staff named Fatima was very friendly and made sure my order was accurate, which is always appreciated. Despite the fast-paced environment, the dining area was spotless, and I noticed the staff regularly cleaning tables and ensuring the space was tidy.

I also found the prices to be very reasonable, especially considering the generous portion sizes.

I'm vegetarian, so I ordered Original Veggie Burger & French Fries - was told Halloumi was unavailable and would get a Valley Burger instead. What arrived was a Veggie Burger minus Halloumi, uncooked white onion, wilted salad and no patty - just uncooked, mushy sweet potato fries. Fries were for my 3 year old, so when shoestring fries arrive, she is also upset. Called up store - was offered a milkshake instead. Could not ascertain a valid reason why they did not cancel the order. Person on the other end of phone was pretty cold and indifferent about my concerns. This is not the first time issue has happened - seems to be hit and miss with this place. Taking my money and attempting to pull one over me by not even delivering an actual burger (I got a badly made sweet potato butty) is inexcusable....

I have to say, I didn't think I could be so impressed by a burger joint, but I am. This place does Burgers!, You can really have it your way, that means with ALL the fixings or just the ones you want. They don't nickel and dime you with additions of the fixings, just tell them the ones you want and you get it. They have the single or double patties. Coke Products, which is a big plus for a coke lover like me. I was very happy to see Coke on tap. As with all Five Guys, you get the peanuts in the shell. Prices are reasonable.
