Werribee Park Golf Club — Attraction in Melbourne

What a joke of a Golf Club,!!!! Booked a group of 12 over 1 month ago. Booking taken, email confirmation given. Rang to confirm on Thursday before game only to be told, sorry don't have your booking. Tee time moved an hour later, carts confirmed. Arrive on Sunday only to find NO CARTS available, they were given away. 8 of our group not able to pla, guy on duty blames management. Yet he was the one giving booked carts away. Then the guy on duty proceeds to allow others to go ahead in our booked time. Had 4 players drive over 1 hour to play. No game, not my fault guy on duty says. Seriously, every Social Club looking to book Werribee Golf Club should think about going elsewhere. Did I mention they still wanted to charge full price, no offer o, hey we will make it up to you. Never ever again Werribee. This is not the first time you've treated Social Groups this way, but will be the last...

This golf course is a tough challenging, but also rewards this who hit straight. It is in a beautiful spot just behind the Werribee Mansion along the river. Course is very well maintained. The members are very friendly and the staff in the pro shop are very helpful, and knowledgeable on their products and anything golf. If you want to improve your golf skills and require assistance go no farther as there are two PGA accredited golf professionals Marke Miller and Tom Hogarth to help you get you game started or back.

I live locally and I’ve been playing here as a visitor for about 7 years. I really enjoy playing here all year round, the course is always in great condition, the greens roll fast and true and is quite a challenging layout. Some great surrounds and wildlife make it a great day out. It’s lovely and quiet too. Pricing is very reasonable for a course that is consistently well kept. Pro shop staff are friendly, there’s a range and great practice green to warm up too. The recently renovated clubhouse offers some fantastic views of the great little par 3 15th, the rest of the course and surrounds, and the food is next on my list to try. Will always be back...
