What a great outing for the young and young at heart over the school holidays to immerse yourself in the world of dinosaur's for 90 minutes. Great return on investment for the $$ spent on admission and the kids smiles, awe and enjoyment in return. Designed for the younger kids say under 10yrs. Dont park at the zoo parking but follow the signals towards Werribee Mansion. Plenty of DinoFest signage to lead you in. Session starts in the main paddock sitting standing behind a rope. Big dinos come out as well as carried dinos for the kids to pat. Very realistic up close with the DinoRangers very patient and engaging with the kids. The main announcer well informed and provided a very educational narrative and kept the kids engaged throughout. After the Dino "show" you get to enter the paddock to get up close to a lot of other dinos, some fenced off but many allowing hands on for the kids for their tactile enjoyment. Make sure the mobile or camera is fully charged for the many photos you will take. Kids will absolutely love the experience and talk...

A hidden gem. A must see for those who miss Europe and feel like embracing the closest thing to a fairly recent built castle 1800-1900 circa. The volunteers do an incredible job. I hope the government funds this place more and the surrounding area because so much more could be done to enhance this beauty. Fun fact : after the people who built it died it was bought by the Catholic church. In the 70s the Catholic church put it on the market ( almost 100 years after the new owners had moved in their brand new incredible home and lived their lavish lives here). A builder was interested but with the intentions of knocking down this incredible place and replacing it with new buildings. Thanks to 2 high school students who wrote to the then PM intervened by buying this incredible residence and extended buildings and turning it into a heritage listed landmark. A must see for those who appreciate...

Bring friends, family, the picnic lunch and spend a day here at the werribee mansion. State rose Garden next door, spring is best time to enjoy the gardens. A place everyone can enjoy, sit, walk, explore the bueatiful grounds. Bonus is it's for free. Cost only to enter the mansion, and extra for restaurant, hotel. 1 km further down K rd is a great deli, drop in pick up a cheese platter and some nibblies. Werribee zoo also next door, for another day, finish off with a meal at the golf course or Jackson's on k, both at each end of k rd. For romance go to Jackson's on k, for the family try the golf course, but book in advance. If you like the beach head to werribee south beach, has toilets parks and free BBQS. I can't say enough about this special area. Go on...

This review is only for the Mansion museum access and to be taken not in the context of the entire Werribee Mansion Park. The price of $11 per person seems to be not worth it as during the time we entered there are few sections that are closed (not sure if due to renovation or closed permanently). The overlooking area was also closed due to heavy rain. There was also some gallery showcasing the historical accounts and timeline of the Mansion but it was presented in a small area. The exhibits are dusty and not polished. It should have been presented in a more clean and shiny yet preserving the antique aesthetic of the furnitures / stuff etc
