Williamstown Aquarium — Attraction in Melbourne

Just a small warehouse with aquatic supplies that they mainly stock are Petworx, AquaOne some ADA AquaSoils, Dr Tim's range of products and marine products (which I can't comment on as I have no experience in marine) that I saw on display, they probably have more and you should ask to find out if interested.

Livestock ranges from your standard freshwater and tropical fishes with a main focus on marine. They also have stock some aquatic plants.

They also have a fish directory with numbers on the tanks to help you easily locate the fish(es) you're after which I found helpful and unique as I haven't came across any aquarium that does that yet.

Spoke briefly to one of the staff and they seemed friendly and were helpful to me.

They do also have a small on-site parking that can probably fit 6 cars at least which is a big plus from me.

Overall, experience was neutral to me, nothing really stood out and "wow'ed" me, was just there to visit and check it off my long list of "aquariums to visit...

A massive thanks to the team at Williamstown Aquarium, especially Jack and Nick who have been 110% honest with me since day 1. I have a tendency to over purchase. When my tank was fully stocked up with fish, when other aquariums were more than happy to sell me more fish, Williamstown Aquarium wouldn't. They placed the wellbeing of my tank / fish / coral (ecosystem) first, and not the $$. Talking about $, i haven't found an Aquarium that's cheaper. Furthermore, the customer service and professional advice is second to none. They really care for you and your aquarium. I've been to the vast majority of salt water aquariums, and I rate Williamstown Aquarium as my number 1 and only place I'll be going to now and in the future.

By far the best aquarium I have been too. I have been visiting Williamstown Aquarium for all my home aquarium needs for years now, I have since moved far away from the aquarium but am happy to travel the distance to shop at Williamstown rather than any other place. The fish we have brought from Williamstown have always been happy and healthy. By far the best thing about Williamstown Aquarium is the customer service. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and I don't think we would have been able to set up successful tanks at home without thier assistance. Many times we have been able to give them a call and they have been happy to help us with any issues we have had with our tank over the phone. It is always a joy to bring our daughter in to the store who loves looking at fish. I highly recommend...
