Excellent beachside Park. It's large, so even when it's busy there's plenty of space for people to play (eg cricket/frisby/footy etc), kids to run amok, find a quiet spot, or have a workout. The new playgrounds looks brilliant compared to the old plastic/metal ones. There's some parking at the south end (where the surf life-saving club is) which gets pretty full thanks to the hotel etc, but there's also a big carpark at the north end (closer to the big playground). There are BBQ's; remember to BYO utensils, oil & paper towel to leave them cleaner then you found them. There's a number of sheltered bench seats (with some clever wind-breaking structures) but your chances of scoring one on a busy arvo are low, so bring picnic rugs/chairs etc. There's a couple of concrete slabs with basketball hoops, plenty of bins, toilets... plus the epic mullaloo beach is only metres away & if you can't be bothered cooking there's a bunch of options right alongside the park (eg Swell, Boardies Kiosk, DATS Amore, MBH, Dome...). Dogs love it here as well! Remember - even on hot days, when the doctor is in (south-westerlies) it can get surprisingly cool.
