Dôme Café - Mullaloo — Restaurant in Western Australia

We went in at Dome Cafe Mullaloo at about 3.30 pm. We have ordered 2 coffees and one piece of lemon tart with whipped cream to share. When we have ordered, we have been told that the store closes in half of hour and we need to have our coffees in takeaways. We accepted as we were meant to finish the coffees anyway in 30 min. The coffees arrived and were madly hot. My friend burned her lip with the first sip. So no way that we could drink it in time. The cake was good but the whipped cream was watery. When i finished eating it it was liquid left on the bottom. It was in our plan to stay outsie to feel the breeze and have a view at the ocean but when we went to st there they werepicking up the tables, the chairs, and umbrellas and were bringing them inside. Whilst we stayed at the table inside, they been 3 times at our table collecting various things as table numbers, cake plate, forks, a dirty serviette. Every time they came, they told ushow many minutes were till closing. They were saying "20 min left till closing", in few minutes came again "15 min till closing" and so on. We got sick of them being rude and we've left before clising hour with the takeaway coffees that we couldn't drink as they that were still hot, to serve them in the park across the street. When we left, the store was looking like a storage unit with the outdoor furniture stacked near the exit/entry.

I was generous rating them 2 stars. Wrong temperature coffee, liquid cream, rude staff and storage looking shop.

Dome in Mullaloo Beach is an excellent spot for a relaxing meal with a stunning view. I’ve been here a few times, and it never disappoints. The location is unbeatable—right across from the beach, with beautiful ocean views that make dining here even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, making it a great place to start the day.

The breakfast here is fantastic! The menu has plenty of options, whether you’re after a classic bacon and eggs, a hearty big breakfast, or something lighter like avocado on toast. The food is always fresh, well-prepared, and served in generous portions. The coffee is also spot-on—rich, smooth, and exactly what you need in the morning.

Service has always been friendly and efficient. Even when it’s busy, the staff manage to keep things running smoothly without long wait times. The café itself is clean and comfortable, with plenty of seating both indoors and outside, where you can enjoy the sea breeze.

The service here is pretty fast depending on the time of day you visit, the food tastes amazing and the coffee is absolutely delicious. The menu has a huge range of drinks including coffees, teas, smoothies, and milkshakes, and the breakfast options are perfect with many choices to choose from. The pricing is great for the quality and value of each meal and item. The store is always kept tidy and swept quite often as it's located right at the beach so quite a few people bring some sand in. The views from the store are gorgeous with a beautiful view of the beach and the grassy park area across the road. The sea breeze makes it a cosy and relaxing place to enjoy a hot coffee and some breakfast or lunch. The staff are always happy to help and provide excellent service that you'd expect from a dome Cafe. I highly recommend giving this place a visit if you pass by and I will be back to visit a few more times for a delicious hot coffee and relaxing...
