Grounded Cafe — Restaurant in Kallaroo

I feel very sorry for whoever owns this cafe as it’s such a cute establishment but I do not think they realise how the staff act when unsupervised…. Heard the two girls working this morning quite literally screaming over trying to decode what one of the guys they are dating intentions are? Also heard them call someone fat and continually question what should go in certain drinks. Was also told the sourdough was gluten free and was almost served this, luckily the boy checked. I am coeliac by the way…. Very strange experience. I was one of the few people there and waited 30 mins for a birds nest which is pre made and just needed...

First up, I love the friendly table selection of different mugs to choose from for my coffee, less waste more love ❤️ This paired perfectly with a "Gruffin". A golden crispy edge mini mountain of goodness that I enjoyed thoroughly while reading books with my little one and checking out the pond and playground outside. (Who doesn't love a table of books for a peruse with a coffee!) Great warm vibes created in this space and I am looking forward to heading back for a try of the dinner curries...

Honestly this place is by far one of Perths best kept secrets. Kate the owner is a legend of a human who makes you feel like you’ve been mates for years. She is all about community & serving a great coffee ❤️ btw the coffee is 10/10. I highly recommend. On a Sunday, we park up, grab a coffee & walk over to the beach for a dip. There is a great little play ground & greenery for the kids to run around also. By far one of our fav hang outs. Thanks...
