The myponga markets have soul, like you would not find anymore. I have been going for many years, and Rick is absolutely lovely, and his wife and son. Such a huge variety of books - old and new. Many that have so much knowledge that you wouldn’t find anymore. These markets have given so many local artists the opportunity to sell their art and crafts. If you appreciate art, and can find the beauty in ‘older’ things then you will appreciate these markets. The gems and shells are some of the most beautiful I have seen, and Rick is such a lovely man and is always up for a chat. The staff give up their weekends to open to customers and they are always smiling and have a welcoming energy - something you don’t find often anymore. I always recommend this place to anyone...

An interesting market not all tastes catered for but still worth the visit. Stall holders generally were friendly and answered all questions well. Only negative comment I have was the record stall was overpriced to what you'd expect for a market. Beatles albums priced from $80 to $120. These markets have been closed for 2 years however still advertised on the internet. I have been told that the council are responsible for the ad still being seen yet despite many requests from residents and businesses they have done nothing about it. PLEASE GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER so people stop wasting their time and money travelling there to find a bit fat zero. Can’t be that...
