Caseys Beach is a great, 800 metre beach, if you're after a low energy beach. Not great for surfing though. You are swimming in the ocean but its partial protection from the full surf onslaught means you can go into the water without being pounded by waves or worrying about rips. The greatest danger is probably the rocky outcrops at either end.
While it's a sweeping 800 metre crescent shaped beach, I describe as a part time beach only in the middle section as the high tide waters reach the rock embankment that protects the adjacent Beach Road from erosion. Lots of rocks in and around the water (hard on bare foot ) but could find oysters, shellfish, and so many variety of coloured small rocks and shells for those who love to collect them. The sand is absolutely awesome to walk on. Downside would be no life guards but so close to the road .
