What brought us to the cafe was good coffee. They use ONA coffee which is great but the cold brew was a bit watered down. The food was fantastic - great portions. But the atmosphere and staff were a let down. Upon entering we politely requested a table and were dismissed so quickly to just find any empty table and take a a seat with a menu given to our face. It is understandable that staff to get busy during the holiday period but this cafe definitely needs to work on the flow. We finally got a table with dirty cups/plates. Took a long time to get someone to clear it. Then had to call someone again to wipe the table. If there was order with staff to seat the customers the table would have been tidied up ready for turn over. To add, whilst waiting we decided to order coffees. As mentioned the coffee was great. It is understandable that mistakes can be made. We ordered a large cap to receive a small one. The barista was extremely unimpressed and insisted I had ordered a small. Luckily I had my receipt which clearly stated a large. Since it was busy all that was needed is an apology and have this corrected rather than attitude. Would not recommend if the cafe is busy as it spoils the great food and coffee.

I didn’t expect this place to be so good - but the food was absolutely delicious! Every part of both my meal and my partners was SO good. Absolutely beautifully presented food as well. Location could do with some improvement, but that’s nothing when the food is so yum. I had the field mushroom + roast pumpkin breakfast; the field mushroom was probably the best I’ve ever had at a cafe, savoury and soft but not slimy or leathery or flavourless. The roast pumpkin was almost caramelised on the outside and so delicious, for someone who normally doesn’t like pumpkin that much it was very impressive. The whipped feta was yum, the poached eggs just the right level of cooked (runny yolks but whites were firm all the way through), the bread was fresh & delicious, and the dukkah, caramelised balsamic vinegar, and lemon were a fantastic add-on to it all. My partner did a bit of a “make-your-own” breakfast with two fried eggs on toast, adding bacon and avocado and a field mushroom, and enjoyed every bit of it too. Would definitely recommend this place, and will be thinking about that mushroom & pumpkin for a while to come!

This place has earned every one of these stars for its coffee, food, atmosphere and service. The coffee was delightful; wonderful taste and texture. They also have a fabulous range of teas! The food was not only of tremendous quality, but was also served in perfectly generous portions, which makes the price all worthwhile. We were a little disappointed to learn that there were no children's size variations on the dishes, but the service staff were wonderful in helping us modify one of the dishes to suit (although I would still love to see an option for smaller sizes of the dishes, or a kids' menu). The only other thing I'd like to see here is more/better seating options, particularly outside. The lack of this did not impede on the quality atmosphere, and the succulent table numbers were adorable and really added to the cute vibes. I really can't fault this place, though. Will definitely be back! 😊💕☕

Very sad service, waited in line for 10mins , not because busy but staff working so slow, only then to be told breakfast finished 4 mins ago. No flexibility and no offer for limited menu, staff are unwelcoming, this is hospitality your work code is in the description so be HOSPITABLE, I have worked this industry for 40 years and this is a sign of what is happening now very sad, meal was good nice flavour 4 stars on food just a little over priced something that would have been over looked with a warm smile and pleasant service

In response to the below;

Thank you for taking the time to read and respond, however I was not there on the Sunday and I am not the person you are referring to, so who ever that person was I have no idea, my frustration that lead to my review was based on the service and experience I received on WEDNESDAY I wrote the revue whilst still sitting in your establishment with approx. 6 other people eating at the same time, I also had NO conversation with you or anyone! your passive aggressive response I find both disturbing and completely unnecessary and as for offering business advice this is something I never would do, I don’t claim to have all the answers however basic customer service and showing appreciation towards your clients is a must, this is something that is poorly missed in your establishment and based on your response maybe coming from the top, best of luck I won’t be back and I’m sure I won’t be...
