This lookout has a fantastic view with a short trail (stairs) which allows you to see many amazing rock formations. Friendly for kids but not those with mobility challenge as you need to walk through some stairs. The view of Shoalhaven River is so vast and windy as though you are looking at the ocean! Parking is only 50m away so it's very convenient. Be warned track is graded 'easy' but it's at least 'medium' in quite a few parts.. the weir crossing over rocks is difficult unless you are young and very agile. The easy track runs down to the river and through some nice and varied Aussie bush terrain.
The rocky features make for some nice photos and the open sections near the dairy farm are also nice.
The river crossings are fun and easy enough, even with small kids.
