If you start the trail anti-clock wise, we will come across some aboriginal art , and the first half of the trail is quite dry, just like walking on a rough stony path. Once you finish the first half and hit the resolute beach, the trail becomes a proper bush walk, up and down, you will have to make your way through some small and big stones. Finally, at the last stretch, you hit the west head lookout which has an amazing view of the palm beach. Overall, a great one for beginners. Make sure to carry plenty water as there are no water filling stations neither at the start nor...

Many beautiful views of Pittwater, and we ducked down to the tranquil west head beach (where there were some keen beans swimming). The only dull part of the walk is the fire trail which - when walking counter clockwise is the last bit of the walk so consider going in the other direction. The drive through the national park to West Head is beautiful, and we will be back to do the various other walks in...
