Kangaroo Island Sculpture Trail — Attraction in Penneshaw

We went to this trail with our 2 preschool aged boys. We went around 5:30-6pm and the light was JUST MAGIC. The path itself is well-maintained, and just a little up and down with a lot of stairs. There are regular seats placed just-so for very pretty views across the water to the mainland. Sculpture is an amazing art form, you can incorporate almost any material and use external influences to produce spectacular pieces but this trail was a let down. I think maybe being Tasmanian and having experienced some truly spectacular sculptures might have made me a bit biased but the walk had very little in the way of sculptures and those that were there were underwhelming. A great little sculpture trail up and down the gully. The trail is 1.5km with lots of stairs so not really accessible for everyone. Nice views from several places.
