Unsafe for family! Stay away! The team on site was very rude, unprofessional and inconsistent, especially the front desk woman. We turned up 2 hours prior to the booking to make an enquiry about cancelling as the weather was really bad on the day. It was a thunderstorm. Despite their email confirmation mentioned that cancellation due to bad weather (and heavy rain was one of the reasons), the receptionist said, specifically, they never cancel and operate 366 days a year! (Yes, she did say 366 days.) We told her that we are worried about having a thunderstorm and children in this weather. We showed her the local weather report saying that it was a thunderstorm. She then said, she doesn’t care about local weather report, and it was only a light rain, and especially the animal are ready. We stood our ground. However, the receptionist then said, she does not care! She does not care about the safety of children riding with them as the team and the animal are ready! For people looking to risk your children, yourself and wanting to hone your debating skills, you should come. Everyone...
Read moreDisappointing and would not recommend. Saw some comments before I went about disinterested guides but I thought I would take the chance given that other places were booked out, it was a mistake. The guide (I think was Zoe) could not be bothered to unzip her mouth beyond one word answers and for one hour, the group just trailed behind her in a single file in complete silence so it got boring real quick. I have been to other horse riding experiences before where the guide was friendly and would actually GUIDE by talking about the horses or the terrain. However, unlike another girl with a nose ring who was somewhat rude, the guide we had wasn't. She was just completely disinterested which is disappointing for us as paying customers.
The horses were sweet and there was a guy that helped set us up that seemed friendly enough. But all in all, I would not pay more than $30pp for this experience and would recommend anyone to at the very least explore other horse riding experiences in the area, even if you have to pay a...
Read moreThe farm looks amazing! It is surrounded by vineyards and mountains. You can walk around the farm and see many different animals: llamas, ostrich, deers, sheeps, cows, donkeys, turkey, rabbit, guinea pigs, pigs, horses. You can also pay $15 to go around and feed them.
They offer many activities: horse riding, Segway tours, archery, axe throwing, clay shooting. We did horse riding and axe throwing and had such a great time!
The 1 hour horse ride was in a group of around 10 people through the surroundings. The scenery was beautiful and I really enjoyed the ride. You can't really take pictures as you need to hold the reigns but they take pictures of you at the end. (I'm still waiting to get them after sending two messages)
The axe throwing was really fun. We did a few rounds to train and started playing a bunch of different games. I loved that it was outdoors and that it was an hour long session! Lots of time to enjoy...
