Spent a beautiful Saturday morning walking about with a cappuccino among the local fisherpeoples. Saw some fish and birds and clouds. What more could you want? Looking forward to living in this area very soon. It's always a treat to get out of the noisy metro area with all the fake instawannabies and rude people. I always enjoyed living near water, and even strolling near by it

Plenty of shelter spots along the jetty, bait boards with taps connected for public to use, & timbers in good condition. The day I was there, a couple at the very end of the jetty had caught 2x pansized bream & an older guy fishing about a third of the way onto the jetty was catching snapper. Wheelies accessible, disabled parking spot available, water fountain available.

Great view, fresh water, fishing facilities, top sunsets. Restaurants in the area. The fish and chip place is good near the jetty. I recommend, for a different experience, go early in the morning on a weekend. I used to work at the Belvedere Hotel overlooking the bay and it was one of the best places I've ever worked. Sailing boats on the water etc. Twas wonderful 😃.

I went here one afternoon with my wife and my dog. For whatever reason we were arguing about something stupid, but nonetheless the place won me over. The gentle lap of the waves. The smell of salt. The crusty old guys fishing for who-knows-what. The couples strolling arm in arm. The teenage kids sipping from goon bags. Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi. Anyway, we eventually resolved the argument (really it was super minor - we were discussing whether Camus and Sartre were a stronger writing duo, or Énard and Toussaint. Which makes no sense as none of them are related all that well except for writing in French. And existentialism, which I have an admitted fondness for. I lean more heavily towards Camus), and the dog had a lot of fun. But he’s a dog so of course he did. They have no...

Beautiful Jetty to walk on, lot's of people fishing. We were lucky enough to go when the tides were up so it made it a bit more interesting with the water coming up through the jetty boards. Lovely place to have a picnic. There are shops nearby for Fish & Chips. We ate at Seafood Town and it was delicious, shared a Seafood Platter and got 2 Potato Scallops and it was enough for the 2 of us. They even gave us 2 plates. Worth the drive for a Beautiful part of...

I went to Woody Point Jetty with my family to have a look around. There is a park in front of it where people have picnics and walk their dogs.

The jetty is surprisingly long and there are spots along the way where you can sit or have a look around. There are also many people fishing at various points on the jetty and it's quite an active place for people to hang out.

I think this is a nice spot in Woody Point and it's good for...
