I went here one afternoon with my wife and my dog. For whatever reason we were arguing about something stupid, but nonetheless the place won me over. The gentle lap of the waves. The smell of salt. Read moreBeautiful Jetty to walk on, lot's of people fishing. We were lucky enough to go when the tides were up so it made it a bit more interesting with the water coming up through the jetty boards. Lovely place to have a picnic. There are shops nearby for Fish & Chips. We ate at Seafood Town and it was delicious, shared a Seafood Platter and got 2 Potato Scallops and it was enough for the 2 of us. They even gave us 2 plates. Read moreI went to Woody Point Jetty with my family to have a look around. There is a park in front of it where people have picnics and walk their dogs.
The jetty is surprisingly long and there are spots along the way where you can sit or have a look around. There are also many people fishing at various points on the jetty and it's quite an active place for people to hang out.
