Townsville Civic Theatre — Attraction in Railway Estate

My mum and I watched "Come from Away" today. It was incredible. My mum loved it, I loved it. "Enjoyed" is an understatement. Words can't describe how much I loved this show.

Listening to the soundtrack is one thing, but seeing it performed live was genuinely life changing. I'm always a bit hesitant because I know it won't sound the same but OH MY GOODNESS!! I was not disappointed.The accents, the music, the singing, it was all perfect. Those actors...

Great location to attend a performance, with helpful attendants and easy access points. There is a cafe/bar just outside the theatre lobby and seating to enjoy a pre or mid performance beverage. Seating is well established so that there is clear viewing of the stage. Stage production is of a high standard also, even for local dance...

Very nice venue, drink breaks needs more attention, too crowded and crazy. Maybe alternative food van or coffee van when events are on for more options and less congestion ? Find the huge queue too much to deal with. Maybe pre-order drinks when booking tickets would improve flow and guaranteed more money to the venue like champagne...
