Olivewood Historic Homestead & Museum — Attraction in Renmark

I was keen to visit this museum which displays the history of the Cheffley brothers. Unfortunately this museum only accepts cash, no EFTPOS!! In these days if COVID we no longer carry cash, and so we were turned away. I only got to see the outside of the building and the outside display, which I believe is the Argo Barge. Would have loved to have gone through the museum, but since we were only in Renmark for the day we missed out. There is plenty of parking though. Do take...

Very nice place! The lady at the front office was very nice and gave us all the freedom and the time we wanted to wander around and admire the place. Entry is $7 for adults. On entry we were left waiting while the desk attended chatted. I rang the bell on the counter. She came over whilst still chatting to her companion. We felt like we were being a nuisance.
