Loved it! My partner lost count at 300 and something different plants, which is amazing for a small Botanic Garden. It's so pretty and tranquil and such a lovely thing to have in a small town like Shoalhaven Heads. Thank you to the people who created and maintain the garden. The bird and bee boxes are cute AF and there are really cool looking mushrooms (no not the edabile type) all throughout the garden. There seemed to be a picnic area there, and a park for the kids, if you have kids, or if you are a big kid. Highly recommended this spot to anyone looking for Pokestops or Pokemon Gyms, or who have kids who play Pokemon Go. 🖤

I’ve been coming to shoalhaven heads for 30 years. Never knew the gardens were built here in the early 2000s. It’s beautifully kept with signs about the native use for all the plants. The community has taken a lot of pride in this. Worth a visit.

Awesome Botanic Garden, cared for by local volunteers. Includes some sculptures from local artists too. We enjoyed our wander around and sitting listening to and watching the native birds fly around and feed. 😁

Highly recommend those who enjoy plants to stop at this garden. We found it one of the more interesting of the small botanical gardens that we have seen.

The garden is laid out nicely and is well maintained. It has a variety of plants that are native to areas of Australia, with many it seemed from the north. There are labels on many of the plants to help us visitors who are not familiar with the native plants.

A number of different types of birds were also flying around the park while we were there.

Kudos to those who maintain this garden...

Visited in February 2022 in between rainfall ☔. The volunteers have done an excellent job here. There seemed to be something for everyone. Lots of plants were labelled which I personally enjoy. There were some sculptures and other art works. The layout provided places to hide, find little hidden gems and some seating areas plus public toilets nearby. The location provides a playing field nearby and an undercover seating area which MIGHT have a BBQ 🤔 Enjoyable space for a...
