Located at Carwar Avenue, Carss Park, New South Wales, Australia šŸ‡¦šŸ‡ŗ A wonderful park that has beautiful views over the water. There’s a great pedestrian and bike track along the water also. These tracks were recently widened which is great. There’s also a dog 🐶 friendly area opposite the Parkside Drive Reserve. There’s a pretty decent sized car šŸš— park. There’s a cafe (By the Bay Cafe and Grill) where you can have a coffee/tea or cold drink with something to eat. But it can be quite expensive. There are BBQ facilities but they are a first come, first serve and on busy days like weekends and public holidays can be taken fast. This is also true for the picnic tables . There’s also a section for you to swim if you want. You could also visit the Carss Cottage Museum which has a good collection of items focusing on Kogarahs History. There’s very good toilet 🚻 facilities available including disabled toilets. It’s a very wheelchair 🦼 accessible park which was good for our group. We really enjoyed our time at the park. It’s lovely on a clear day. There’s plenty of grassy areas to throw a ball šŸ„Ž around. There’s a fantastic children’s playground area with plenty of things to keep the kids occupied. Also a swing for wheelchairs which is fantastic! I would definitely recommend a visit. Thumbs...

A great park although I would say it was quite windy when we were (September) there as it is right on the Georges River. A large area with play equipment plenty of space to picnic and run around as well as a small Beach on to the adjoining bay. There was a very busy cafe there we might be waiting a little while to get service because didn't seem to be too many other cafes close by and this one was right inside the park next to the play area. Parking was a little bit of a mission and quite a few people were driving down to the closest Point to the picnic area then dropping all their stuff before driving back to find a parking spot closer to the main road. This is probably not a bad strategy but just means you need someone to stay with your stuff until they return or carry your picnic materials to appropriate site. There was no soap, paper towel or a hand dryer in the toilets so bring your own soap...

Carss Bush Park is an absolute gem for families and nature lovers alike. Nestled along the waterfront, it features a small but charming beach that's perfect for a relaxing day out. The park boasts an awesome playground that keeps kids entertained for hours, with inclusive equipment thoughtfully designed to ensure children with disabilities can join in the fun too. A highlight for many visitors is the lovely on-site cafĆ©, offering great coffee, snacks, and meals with scenic views. The expansive green grassy areas are ideal for picnics, games, or simply unwinding under the sun. It’s clean, well-maintained, and has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're there for a quiet stroll, family outing, or a playdate, Carss Bush Park offers something for everyone. It's truly one of the best outdoor spaces in the area, and once you visit, you'll want to return again and again. A perfect spot...

A Gem in the Hurstville area, Decent sized park with well maintained good facilities. Nice open areas for BBQ or just to enjoy nature, walking trails nearby, a beach were you can swim protected by nets kids playground with lots of play equipment ,a coffe shop .Toilets with showers. A good number of picnic tables under cover, lots of BBQ sets lined up on one section of the park. Beachfront seating with views of the yatchs in the protected bay. Lots of birds in the park. Two parking areas ,very busy during the weekend . Come early or later in the afternoon in the weekends. The parking off King Georges is the bigger carpark.Very good park to visit when not to busy. The Georges River Council does a beautiful job maintaining this park.
