Located at Carwar Avenue, Carss Park, New South Wales, Australia š¦šŗ A wonderful park that has beautiful views over the water. Thereās a great pedestrian and bike track along the water also. These tracks were recently widened which is great. Thereās also a dog š¶ friendly area opposite the Parkside Drive Reserve. Thereās a pretty decent sized car š park. Thereās a cafe (By the Bay Cafe and Grill) where you can have a coffee/tea or cold drink with something to eat. But it can be quite expensive. There are BBQ facilities but they are a first come, first serve and on busy days like weekends and public holidays can be taken fast. This is also true for the picnic tables . Thereās also a section for you to swim if you want. You could also visit the Carss Cottage Museum which has a good collection of items focusing on Kogarahs History. Thereās very good toilet š» facilities available including disabled toilets. Itās a very wheelchair 𦼠accessible park which was good for our group. We really enjoyed our time at the park. Itās lovely on a clear day. Thereās plenty of grassy areas to throw a ball š„ around. Thereās a fantastic childrenās playground area with plenty of things to keep the kids occupied. Also a swing for wheelchairs which is fantastic! I would definitely recommend a visit. Thumbs...

A large area with play equipment plenty of space to picnic and run around as well as a small Beach on to the adjoining bay. There was a very busy cafe there we might be waiting a little while to get service because didn't seem to be too many other cafes close by and this one was right inside the park next to the play area. Parking was a little bit of a mission and quite a few people were driving down to the closest Point to the picnic area then dropping all their stuff before driving back to find a parking spot closer to the main road. This is probably not a bad strategy but just means you need someone to stay with your stuff until they return or carry your picnic materials to appropriate site. There was no soap, paper towel or a hand dryer in the toilets so bring your own soap...
