Huge area comprised of a lake, waterfall, wildlife enclosure, function center, playground and open area. Parts of it are a little bit run down such as the deck near the waterfall, some of the signage and the function room, but that can be easily overlooked as the grounds are well-maintained and there are plenty of wildlife to see. There are lots of different birds to see at practically any part of the park. Free entry. Majority of the park is pram and wheelchair friendly, however there are some stairs to get to the waterfall viewing deck. Parking is adjacent to the reserve and is easily accessible. The animal enclosure includes Owls, possums, ducks, geese, kangaroos, wallabies, swans, cockatoos, emus and a possum; however the enclosure does feel somewhat small for the size and amount of animals per enclosure. The waterfall gets turned on at 11 AM. It is beautiful ,however if you want to see wildlife I would recommend going to Auburn botanic gardens and if want to see a large lake I would recommend going to Bicentennial Park at Homebush as they’re presented nicer.

I was shocked and surprised when my brother brought me here. Didn't know it existed and what a great surprise. They have a huge park and 2 play grounds tennis courts down the other way. 2 BBQ areas first in first serve. Only let down is there is minimal parking. We parked by the animal side of the park. There's a pond with waterfalls it's very tranquil. The paths are very wide and the park is nice enough for a stroll and short enough for those who need to just enjoy a small walk and not too strenuous. Kids can run off but able to be seen. The animals was a wow for me and titles walking in the park were amazing. There were 2 children staring at the turtle and I thought it was theirs until they said no there's another one over there as well! We came in a Monday afternoon very quiet plenty of space and before school ended but in the weekends it's mad. Needs to be experienced though and the field is big enough you can kick balls around etc.

This is a really beautiful place, I didn’t know it existed before the group I was with brought us. It’s really easy to walk around and the paths make it wheelchair accessible which is really good. There’s really good amenities like BBQ areas and toilets. The animals are a lovely touch though the fencing makes it a little difficult to see them without obstacles or get good photos which was a little frustrating. The waterfalls and lakes were really lovely. I had a great time here and wouldn’t have any hesitation in recommending it. We came on a Wednesday, which was ideal because it was so quiet. We felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. I don’t know what it would be like on the weekends. There is plenty of good parking also

A nice nature reserve in Merrylands. It was very busy and crowded on the weekend. Car park was a little difficult to find but eventually we got one. Lots of people having BBQs and families gathering. There were two kids playgrounds, the main playground was very busy as I would have expected. It had a lot of things for kids to play with. There's another playground a little further away, which was more for toddlers. This playground was quiet, to a point my son had it all to himself. A very basic playground with two slides. Walking along the paths, there was a water fountain, an animal enclosure area and more parks. It was a nice stroll around.

It's a lovely place to take the kids parking is a little bit awkward, feels like your miles away from the playground. I personally think they need to fix up this park it's lacking a lot, even with the kangaroos and emu's attraction it still feels kinda bland. The waterfall was a surprise didn't expect to see that. Was very nice. The council needs to see the potential of this place and take it to another level making it more user friendly, car parks maybe a better way to display the protected animals, having a playground which is closer to the car park etc.
