Didn't realise how amazing and relaxing this place was! You've got a walking path for those who like to walk, run or just take a relaxing stroll taking in all the fresh air and the views of the city skyline. There is ample patches of grass to sit and have a picnic, and it might be a great place to view the NYE fireworks. There is a pool as well which I believe is open to the public. At the end of the reserve, you have cremone point, where there is a small lighthouse and you can sit on the boardwalk and watch the sunset behind the Sydney harbour bridge. The walk through the reserve is pretty much flat land, and shouldn't take you more than half an hour. You can reach this place by bus or by ferry. I would suggest taking the ferry from Circular Quay to Cremone Point Wharf (enjoy the views of the harbour bridge and the opera house on the way), do the walk through the reserve and catch a bus to military road, and enjoy a coffee or a meal in one of the local coffee shops/ restaurants and then take the bus back to the city.

Cremorne Reserve is a hidden gem that feels like nature's best-kept secret. It is kind of like finding that perfect whisky that's not too smoky, not too sweet, but just right. Imagine stepping into a peaceful oasis where the city skyline casually peeks through lush greenery, and the water views are so calming you'll forget about all your deadlines. The walking paths are easy on the legs, like a smooth single malt, making this spot great for both seasoned walkers and those who just want a leisurely stroll with a side of relaxation. Just like a good whisky, Cremorne Reserve has layers, the native flora, charming picnic spots, and a touch of history with the old gun emplacements. It's a mix that keeps you coming back for more. So, if you're in the Sydney area and craving a little nature with a splash of serenity, Cremorne Reserve is worth a visit. Just like that underrated whisky you discover at the back of the shelf, it's a place you'll be glad you found.

A local favourite walk for everyone. Nice views to Sydney cbd. Parking a little hard if you wish to park as close to Cremorne Point ferry station. Better to access the reserve from other entry points and give the stunning waterside walk a once over. A lot of local volunteers cares for this reserve so many interesting plants to observe while you enjoy the view as well. There’s also a tiny secret garden for the keen eyes. Many water fountains on path. Public Toilet and playground near Cremorne Point ferry station. I personally prefer to park at Harnett/Reid park, extra walk but ample parking. Entry point from Spofforth St have many stairs. Family with Pram and wheelchairs best to start from Cremorne Point ferry station.

Cremorne Reserve is an absolute gem on Sydney’s Lower North Shore — one of those places that makes you stop, breathe, and really appreciate where you are. 🌿✨ The walking paths are peaceful and well-kept, winding gently through lush greenery and offering plenty of shady spots to pause and soak it all in. It’s perfect for a quiet solo stroll, a romantic walk, or a relaxed family outing. 👣🌳 What truly sets it apart are the breathtaking water views — the Sydney Harbour Bridge in all its glory, framed by sparkling blue water and bobbing sailboats. You’ll want your camera for this one! 📸🌊🌉 Adding to the charm are the elegant heritage homes that line the edges of the reserve. Each one tells a little story of the area’s history and adds to the timeless atmosphere. 🏡💫 Whether you're a local or just visiting, Cremorne Reserve is the perfect escape — serene, scenic, and so very Sydney. Bring a picnic, your walking shoes, and a sense of wonder. Highly...
