Great little free family friendly swimming spot, a 15 minute walk/ferry from the city! LOCATION: Car access, some street parking, although it can be tough to get some close by on the weekends. Also right near Cremorne Point Wharf, with ferries leaving on a regular basis. Trip from the city only costs a few dollars. SURROUNDS: Gorgeously maintained gardens, large leafy coverage for those hot days. Perfect for picnics. Nice little playground for the kids and some picnic tables in the area and a headland you can walk to the end of, with a cute little lighthouse. ACCESSIBILITY: Toilets are wheelchair friendly, in terms of ground access but super small. The pool has stairs going down to it. Although you could wheel down to look at the pool (a few people have prams on the weekends up on grass at the top). The depth isn't too deep and there's a super shallow end and large stairs sightly immersed in the water, suitable for toddlers etc. Overall would recommend, for a salt water ocean pool dip work a great tanning/letting around deck and...

The pool is situated on the coast looking back over Sydney harbour towards the bridge and opera house . It's a bit of a walk from the train station ,better to get a ferry to Cremore Point and enjoy a walk around the peninsula and get jealous of the nice houses. The pool itself on the day I visited could have been cleaner ,but there had been a storm the night before . There is a nice deck area in the sun and shade if you prefer. There is also a shower there . One thing to take into account if you go for a day out is there are no cafés,bars or shops nearby so take a picnic , there are beautiful areas nearby to have a picnic and...

McCallum Pool is an absolute hidden gem in Sydney and a must-visit spot! Nestled along the stunning Cremorne Point Walk, this charming tidal pool offers breathtaking views across the harbour, including the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. The serene setting, surrounded by natural beauty, makes it feel like your own private oasis.

The water is refreshing, the pool is well-maintained, and it’s the perfect place to relax after a scenic stroll along the point. Whether you’re looking for a quiet swim, a moment to unwind, or to simply soak up Sydney’s iconic views, McCallum Pool is a little slice of paradise....
