The rooms are tastefully put together but small. One room the bed was comfortable but the mattress in ours needed updating. We unfortunately did not get the rooms arranged when the booking was made. My mum was doing us a wonderful favour by babysitting our little one once it hit his bedtime so we could have our first night out at a friend’s wedding. I specifically requested a room with a view so she would have something nice to look at while in a quiet room with a 15-month old. I was informed the rooms would be on different levels so that this could be accommodated. Some kind of error must have taken place in the booking processes as I didn’t get a booking confirmation until the day before arrival and neither room had a view. Instead we were next door to one another which provided some conveniences. My mum text me at the wedding to say she was drinking her wine in the bathroom due to fear of waking the baby in the small room. This was a disappointment in our experience, as my mum was expecting and looking forward to a promised view. I didn’t speak much to the staff due to feeling upset about this, but observed them offering friendly local recommendations to other guests. And the other reviews suggest they really strive to provide good service. The location of the hotel is really great. It’s a beautiful area with lovely walks and views of the harbor close-by. We just got unlucky with a mix up of some kind, which I guess was tricky to rectify. I wish I could have reviewed a beautiful view. I did talk to the staff about this when I arrived but there was no solution or explanation able to...
Read moreWe had an absolutely wonderful stay at Cremorne Point Manor (luxury penthouse)as a family of six, this place exceeded our expectations in every way possible.
The rooms were spacious and impeccably clean, providing enough space for all of us to relax comfortably. The breathtaking views of the harbor from our room were simply spectacular, and waking up to such a sight was a highlight of our stay. The morning walk along the Cremorne Reserve with sunrise was stunning!!
The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive to our needs throughout our visit. Their hospitality truly made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.
The location is fantastic, offering a serene environment away from the hustle and bustle, yet conveniently close to ferry.
One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet - though simple, it offered enough choices to satisfy everyone's taste buds. The fresh and delicious options were a great start to our days.
We enjoyed every minute of our time here and highly recommend Cremorne Point Manor for families or anyone seeking a peaceful and enjoyable stay in Sydney, very different experience from staying in the CBD area.
Thank you to the team at Cremorne Point Manor for making our family vacation...
Read moreWe booked this place for the NY eve celebrations and were relieved we did so because what we got was a lovely safe neighbourhood stroll down to the point nearby and plenty of lovely grass to picnic on. The panoramic view of the city n harbour bridge across the waters is magnificent, breathtaking although not close up view of famous buildings like what u will get from the proximal end of the bay. Nevertheless the panorama n waters n boats is one unique feel.
The manor itself is beautiful upon arrival. The interiors are warm n cosy. Our room was very very small one the ground floor. Quiet n bed comfortable. Had a bottle of champagne to greet the guest on the house. I don't recall being overly excited by any price discount. Breakfast at a small to medium sized dining room was fairly basic. Staff was very friendly. There is an elevator in the building but be careful on the front porch steps.
I think it's The Penthouse top floor that is the ultimate grand experience but prepare to fork out the greens for it.
As a special getaway that is not often, it's a wonderful wonderful...
