To say this place gets busy is an understatement. Went there on a Sunday morning before 7am, there were cars and trailers parked everywhere, illegally too, couldn't get a spot, eventually had to park (in a no-parking zone) miles from the kayak launch area. The water might be good for boats, but it's brown and murky a.f. so nowhere you want to be swimming.

It's a boat ramp, I mean come on. It's a good area though and this boat ramp is a way to get into the water.

Good 3 lane ramp with all facilities. Can get very busy. Water really dirty even though it hadn't rained

Used this boat ramp today and launched a Tinnie. Was busy when we tried to launch the boat but on our return it was pretty empty. The boat ramp has space for three cars + trailers to be launching at the same time. Area has plenty of trailer parking available. Don’t forget to pay the National Park parking fee as they had a couple of rangers checking today and issuing fines. The cost for parking...

It's a good ramp with good facilities. Only thing I've noticed is after bad weather you get a bit of debris in the water near the ramp and out to the wider channel. A couple times I've got a tree branch stuck on the outboard. Probably best to not open her up till you get round the corner into the main channel after...
