Windy, but a place to finish off and publish my thoughts I have come to from my worldy travels. When you travel geographically you will unconsciously always travel internally.
And, my ever wondering questions of why? Why do this trip? Why over extend myself? What next and has this served me?
Will I ever know? Why is it not hitting me with this picturesque view of Dubai and it’s coastline. Or, is this all because I refuse to grow up, refuse to have the boring days. Yet, boring days may be the thing I need the most. To sit and understand what I already know. The only thing that brings consistent happiness, not spikes of dopamine is the contentment of our inner environment. Although, when this is achieved, are we even churning and burning productivity machines that fit the capitalist mould? I wish I knew more, but, I am now better at living in the moment.
From tasting cultures and people all over Europe and other places in the world I can conclude that Money is needed as tickets but has zero baring on whether someone likes you sincerely or not. We all pretend we believe this, but deep down we don’t. However, it is true. They say you only remember the memories and not the struggle. Unfortunately, I am different. I don’t remember all the pain and struggle, but the unnecessary inconveniences and wasting of time and money. Not that I would change this trip, but in future, more time in one place, less hoping around. The exhaustion quickly overrides your compassion for the sweetest Spanish kitty or older Greek lady. Brevity is a skill, let’s try use more of it. When someone speaks, don’t worry about responding, just listen deep and then the correct answers will bubble to the surface. Your phone’s popularity is not your popularity. The content you make does not deepen your friendships with humans. But, if you are good at it, it can free you up and you can legitimately make a very good living and travel with it’s success. The age of the self made celebrity is upon us.

Read moreWhat can I say, just had our wedding ceremony here days ago.... :) definitely 5 stars~ Partner chose this place amongst celebrant’s advices where he and his dog spent lot of time before its leaving... he said” me and Moe were here, waiting for you”... I passed by before, thought it is just a very small and simple park, due to its special meaning to partner , hence happily agreed to do the ceremony here~ until the special day arrived, we walked to edge— wow, what a great view , especially after Sydney was rainy and cloudy for days... I read some of 1-3 star review , understanding each person have different expectations.. however, I appreciate it more for its location and view , and convenience&beautiful moments it brought us... We don’t own a stable house, so probably in future will be far away fm this park... will miss this park and visit it more often when...
Read moreMOST dogs owners obey the leash laws here, but theres still sadly too many d'heads who flout the laws. I for one report them, as i like to walk my cat here (on a leash, because i pay rates too, and parks should belong to all rate payers, not just the dog mafia) at the LEAST doggy time of day, and still theres idiots flouting the laws because the dog mafia of Balmain think their fur children are above the law.....i own a can of pepper spray for those peoples dogs that i feel may endanger me or my animal or other park users (hint: not everyone wants dogs bounding around or up to them on a walk, you inconsiderate people). The best you can hope for is to be reported, the worst is you'll be taking your pet to a vet (now a blubbering heap and unable to breathe) and learning your lesson the hard way. Final...
