PAWFECT DOGGY DAY SPA — Local services in Sydney

I'm probably one of the most fussiest dog mums and I have to be confident my (sometimes anxious and very spoilt) little dog is being well cared and pampered when being groomed. I have found the service and care provided by Canny, Grace and the team at Pawfect to be PERFECT! They are very understanding, excellent communicators, skilled groomers, local and reasonably priced. They manage the timings so that your dog is done according to appointments and fast as possible, rather than keep your dog waiting for hours on end due to greed and taking on too many dogs in a day (like other places we have tried). Pawfect gave our dog an excellent cut at an excellent price. However, two experiences with the business put us off from coming back to Pawfect. Firstly, our dog came out with a limp after spending a day here. Even after 5 months, she has not yet fully recovered. Pawfect denied any knowledge of any accident happening on their premises.

Today, I witnessed a Pawfect staff member carry two unleashed pets outside the shop on a main road under her arms as if they were teddy bears. One dog escaped and the staff member needed my assistance to catch one of the two dogs. Why were these dogs outside of the premises and why were they being treated so roughly?

Fantastic groomers, lovely and gentle staff. I drive over 1 hour to take my furgirl to be pampered and groomed here. I moved away from Balmain last year and have had bad experiences with other groomers since and after one lady cutting her paw with scissors her anxiety grew intensely. I have given up looking for local salons now as I find it well worth the long drive to take her back to Pawfect Doggy Day Spa as she is always relaxed and content being there. I never hesitate to recommend Pawfect to everyone I know and meet.
