The market management does not listen to the views of sellers and does not care what they think. There are many sellers who are very frustrated with the way in which the market is managed and as time progresses, there are more and more empty sites which the market management fills up with seats or chess board painting on the pavement to make the place look less like the sellers are voting with their feet. For casual sellers, even being allocated a site for the day is a pain. Many casual sellers are lined up from before 0630 but the office will not process them until 0700 which has become 0705 or 0710 on occasions. This is rigid unyielding "do it our way" treatment of sellers. A little bit of CARE shown by the management would make a world of difference. The rating above says "disliked it". That is the rating for management and their uncooperative "working" relationship with sellers. The relationship between sellers and sellers is "loved it". We have enjoyed being part of the selling team but have many criticisms of the way in which the market is managed. So far as the choices of items to buy at the market is concerned, there are many sellers offering identical items. Most of the items have been sourced from other outlets (the internet??) and are being on-sold in the potentially 650 or so stall spaces. Not a lot of the products being sold are hand made by the seller. I would rate the choice/range of items for sale as "liked it". If you are a buyer, go for it! There are lots of choices and many good products...

Your first challenge is parking, good luck... It takes some time, but you'll get there in the end if you stick with it.

Also, no one accepts card, everything is cash. I won't guess why that is. Though I'm not surprised by the discounts on some items given that fact. The single ATM has a long queue most of the time(while it is operational, it failed for 20 minutes today). So I suggest you bring cash.

After that, you will soon realise you are in a big metal tin. There are fans, though this does surprisingly little to help with the heat. Water is available to purchase at many spots. However, I suggest you bring some if you are going.

I did buy some food from one retailer, it was terrible. So I recommend you eat before you arrive or only stay for a short period.

If you're looking for house plants, this is not the place to go. I could have almost counted the pot plants on sale, and the prices were nothing special.

I bought my kid a remote control car. It was about the same price as one I could have got at Kmart. The difference is that the Kmart one would have worked... I opened it up to find out what was wrong. They had not finished assembling it... It should be ok with a bit of glue, but come on.

I also bought a shirt. On close inspection, at home, I'm starting to think it's counterfeit...

My final piece of advice is this. Go to...

BEWARE of the shoeman selling nike shoes and chanel sandals under the roof towards the food trucks...in the middle...he is in his early sixties with another elderly man that just grabs the shoes but says very little..have brought 2 pairs from him but the pair my daughter wanted he has been saying since before Xmas that their waiting on container..kept coming back week after week to the same response...then one Saturday he said he could get them and made my daughter try on different coloured ones to check for size...he said he would send them to me in post on Monday he will send me tracking number..paid for them and gave him address..my daughter needed for high school so I reluctantly did all this in good faith..this was a BIG mistake..he kept telling me different excuses over weeks including his daughter in hospital to Swearing on his life which is the last one..we have waited at home on weekends for him as he says he is coming...he never comes and never answer texts or phone..it goes straight to messages..still haven't got any shoes and he doesn't answer now...be wary...NEVER give this man money without product put in your hand..

ā˜†ā˜†UPDATEā˜†ā˜† Finally received shoes by mail Today Wednesday 26th Feb After a long tiresome wait. Thank god. Maybe this post had something to do with...
