My experience on 26th December 2024, with a tee-off time at 7:24 AM, was deeply disappointing and was the worst golf experience ever.
After completing the first hole, we encountered a group that had cut in ahead of us at the second hole. This caused significant delays, as they played very slowly and fell two holes behind the group ahead of them. As a result, we were stuck waiting at every hole for this group to finish.
After completing our round, I reported this issue to the pro shop. The staff member I spoke with, a Caucasian male, informed me that this arrangement was instructed by him. His reasoning was that our group was allegedly playing too slowly, and while he stated he couldn’t delay the members’ tee-off times, he was willing to delay us instead. I find this decision troubling and would like to address the following points:
We were not playing slowly. My friend and I teed off promptly whenever the group ahead was out of reach. On several occasions, we had to wait on the fairway for the group ahead to clear the green. The claim that we were slowing the pace is unfounded.
Group dynamics were not considered. Our group included two players we did not know, and not all golfers play at the same skill level or speed. If there had been concerns about pace, the staff could have communicated directly with us during the round instead of making a unilateral decision.
Unprofessional and dismissive attitude. The staff member made this decision without consulting us and displayed a passive-aggressive, rude, and unprofessional attitude when I raised the issue. The front door staff are friendly and courteous, but once the guests all made it inside they were met by a very rude person that may have been the head waitress.
The best thing about the food served was the bread at each table. The food served to the guests was abysmal. Super dry microwaved meat to super dry chicken. The kids pasta that was served tasted like it had a full bag of sugar mixed with it.
Dietary requirements were not paid attention to when people were served, and guest repeatedly had to request to staff what they needed, even though this was all requested weeks ago.
Deserts that came out were very bland. Overall with the food, you could tell this place has never tried to really excel.
The head waitress was on some weird power trip. From accusing patrons from having drunk too much, when they hadn't even touched a glass to telling people to remain seated due to COVID restrictions, when no such restriction applied at that time. She revelled in telling patrons off and should not be working as a server, let alone the head waitress.
Meanwhile, the rest of the staff were very apologetic and helpful.
Now to parking, not very convenient as it is part of a golf course and parking was quite full. Members were very rude and obnoxious to the guests, especially when they were looking for spots or when leaving the venue and making their way to their vehicles.

I am actually disgusted in the level of customer service from this company. My sister had her christening there in Feb 2021. We had a great time. The food and service was beautiful. Since then we have tried to book multiple events and are told they are book out. Recently I attempted to book my daughters holy communion and they never returned my calls so I had emailed, again no response. I have sent over 5 emails and nothing. My sister tried and again no response. When we called to see what was going on the events coordinator called my sister and said they don't understand why we are booking when someone from our event left a bad review. My sister went through the list and NOT ONE person from our event left a bad review. She explained this and said she wished they called earlier and tried to talk through this as we could have explained this earlier. We were told she would talk to her staff and call us back. This hasn't happened. I have called twice since and again no return call
The thing that upsets me the most is even if they think this is true, if someone from an event has a bad experience and leaves a review that isn't on us. Blocking people who you think did something without ever checking first is absolutely disgusting. We all have the right to leave a review good or bad if we feel so and companies should not try...
