Read moreI am editing my last review after having a terrible take away of Special Fried Rice, Salt & Pepper Chicken and Sweet and Sour Pork on 18th Jan 2024 evening. It would have to be the worst Chinese food I have attempted to eat. The fried rice looked and tasted like it was something swept off the floor and soy sauce used to hide stale food. One prawn on top and a couple of left over scraps of beef you found lying around doesn't make it "special". Looked, smelt and tasted horrible. None of these meals were made from fresh ingredients. Fearing for food poisoning we stopped eating the meals. A waste of $51. So close to demanding my money back. I have been a regular customer for decades but NEVER AGAIN. This restaurant has been here for decades although owners have changed. The original founding owner Peter would be horrified to see how you have ruined his restaurant. Latest owners have brightened and modernised the decor but the food quality that was previously fantastic has dropped so badly it is unedible. These owners have destroyed a good restaurant. When we opened the plastic bag there was one fortune cookie for two people - this was the omen of worse to discover. I have done over 400 reviews on Google and hundreds on Tripadvisor so take this review as genuine. You will see most are positive reviews but negative...
Read moreSo sad since Nth Ryde Golf Club got rid of excellent Chinese Restaurant. Have been to Noble Terrace three times, this was our last. Never been particularly happy with the food, ok but nothing really special, service was very friendly. We never get our food together but this time about 10 mins between. My soup broth was tasty but the won tons didn't feel cooked enough.
My partner could not eat the meat in her main, it was so tough. She picked out the veggies, two pieces of carrot and the usual greens. Mine was bizarre- some pieces soft enough but majority also very tough. She had beef and I - allegedly - had lamb. Twice we mentioned how tough the meat was but they were doing a roaring take away trade and this came first as we had to wait until orders were dispensed. We were cold and very hungry,in fact had waited 20mins outside for it to reopen at 5pm. We decided we were sick of waiting so just went to pay bearing in mind my partner's meal was basically still on her plate, we were then charged full price. Sorry ... just lost two customers eager for good local chinese without having to hike through Macquarie shopping centre. Not...
