Peppers Formal Wear — Attraction in Sydney

Great suits for myself and my wedding party but the communication in store was pretty poor. I loved my tux and was very happy with the end result and my groomsmen all looked amazing.

But there was a lot of confusion and miscommunication. First up I was lead to believe that the only way to get a suit tailored to fit was to purchase perches one at the higher price rather than renting one, only to find out at our last fitting the they actually tailor the rental suits too. After three fittings, once my suit was actually ready I came in to find out they had the wrong size jacket and shirt and had to rush order new ones 2 weeks before the wedding. When it was time to pick up the suit it didn’t even come in a suit bag. These were all little things but considering I was spending a lot of money it’s not the service or quality I was expecting.

Needed a tux for a friend's wedding being held at Old Parliament House in Canberra. Peppers came via a recommendation from a (different) mate who had used them to dress the groomsmen at his wedding several years before. Peppers are easy to find (they're near the Hayden Orpheum cinema), and have a huge collection of suits and shirts (and belts and cuff links et al) to choose from. My only beef with the whole experience is they always seem super busy, and so you end up having to sit around for ages waiting to be served. But that's a minor annoyance in the grand scheme of things (but make sure you're not in a rush when you go there, as the whole waiting / then getting fitted / trying on things, process does take time).
