Sydney Rivers Canoe Hire — Attraction in Sydney

My partner and I live nearby cooks river and we were always curious about the orange canoes we kept watching from our window. So we decided to go and give it a try and it was totally worth it.

We were warmly welcomed by Derek who was very friendly and took care of every detail. His instructions were very thorough and simple to understand so you can get into the water even if it is your first time paddling.

He has waterproof covers for your phone which was great and we did not expected, and rain ponchos in case it is raining.

Also it took us just about 2 minutes to book and pay for the canoe rent online.

We are definitely coming back.

Fantastic weekend adventure! As newbies who had never kayaked/canoed before I was very nervous about hiring a canoe to try as a family adventure (with our 7yr old and a yr old pup), but Derek reassured me and answered all my queries patiently before I booked.

He was very kind to even move our dates because of the heavy rain we had in Sydney last week. He was always available for questions.

Hubby, our son, our pup and I were on a 3 seater Canoe. They were easy to use, in great condition at reasonable rate. We had a great family time.

It's a pretty pleasant journey. Derek and his mate provide some useful information on cooks river and wolli creek, and they provide cellphone case, which is i didn't expect before.

By the way, don't simply rely on the opening hours on maps. If you book a padding, arrive there on time, even if they are temporarily absent.
