Tempe Recreation Reserve — Attraction in Sydney

Located along the Prince's Highway South Bound Opposite Wolli Creek Shopping Village and Suburb. Situated along the waters edge along side the Cooks river meets the Pacific Ocean. A well maintained and popular park with Sydney siders. This location has many different parts and features a Rowing Club, Cafe, Walking Paths and Sporting venues with Soccer fields and a Cricket Oval Adjoining. Parking is plentiful with Multiple car spaces and Parking lots, multiple entrances and spaces available. There's are toilets and Amenities on different parts of the parks.Playgrounds, Tables and seating areas for picnic and Viewing areas along the waters edge which the Reserve runs along. Directly opposite the reserve is Woolworths Wooli Creek and the Wooli Creek train Station is within walking distance from the station to the Reserve vice versa. Lovely place for all, families with kids, friends, cycling, walking, large grass areas for sports activities and events, picnic areas, toilets available, fenced play ground, limited covered seating areas, however there are some quite and shaded areas just under the large trees, plenty of free parking, water views.. this place was always clean, however recently it has attracted many large families that seem to forget their rubbish behind all the time, if you go for a walk at the evenings you will probably witness the leftover food/seeds/tissues/food wraps and rubbish just laying there, which is quite sad, if you enjoy the place and return to it all the time please maintain it, and take your rubbish with you for others to enjoy too, leaving rubbish behind is a reflection of you who you are :/ I thank the maintenance team who continue to do an excellent job looking after this park, and cleaning after...

A nicely laid versatile field with a combination of natural and artificial turfs. A cricket field and batting training area. A footy area, which is the artificial turf. There is plenty of parking around it and a walking trail around it too, in addition to a cycling path. There's public toilets, but they are very basic; not very clean and smelly , but there's toilet paper, which is always a plus. A few small covered benches but otherwise not a lot of shade if it's a sunny day unless you go under the trees on one side but they are setup in a way that doesn't lend them well to sit under them. There's at least one drinking fountain I spotteded and the signs indicate you can bring your dogs here, but they need to stay on a leash. Overall, it's a good and well...
