The Knoll Section — Attraction in Tamborine Mountain

A lovely forest picnic park with views from Brisbane to Mount French and beyond. This is one of my favourite forest walks on Tamborine because it combines the beautiful experience of being in the forest with a waterfall and spectacular wide views to the north. It also has good tracks and is not a difficult walk, although there are a few stone steps here and there. Half the walk has mottled sunlight streaming though, so it's not a dark walk. Awesome view and gpod picnic area, however there is a big drop over the edge and the log fence does very little to prevent anyone getting over it.

the long drop toilets are very very badly maintained and are in need of attention.

Also mind out for the Jumping Jack ants living all over the area, as they have a super painful sting and cause a lot...
