It is a must see local attraction. Loved walking on the steel bridge/walk. Wish it had been longer. The extended steel lookout was awesome. Although, be aware that it will get shaky and wobbly. The closer you get to the lookout the worse it gets. The view though from which was breathtaking. The whole circuit was okay, but some people might find it challenging as you get off the steel bridge, it is all uphills. So be prepared.
I personally found the butterfly valley really interesting (I forgot if it is at the end of the circuit or halfway through. Either way, you wonβt miss it). The little exhibition in the decor before you head out onto the bridge was surprisingly fascinating. If you are into eco systems and insects and all that, you would be happy.
They do have a cafe with a proper menu on premises, which is really convenient if you feel like grabbing a coffee and a bite. They donβt have a gift shop but they have a designated area for gifts which is located on the right hand side corner on your way in. There is no need to purchase tickets online or in advance. Both times we went, we just bought the tickets at the spot. They do have concessions for kids and seniors. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
In general, it was a fantastic experience and it felt really good so...
Β Β Β Read moreI recently visited tamborine skywalk, and while the walk itself was lovely with stunning views and the unique experience of walking in the Upper canopies, I couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed with the overall value for money.
Don't get me wrong, the scenery is undeniably beautiful, and there's something magical about being up in the treetops. However, considering the relatively short length of the sky walk, the price seemed quite steep. I understand that maintenance costs money, but compared to the nearby and free Curtis Falls walk, which is equally as breathtaking, it's hard to justify the price.
If the admission fee was halved, it would make the experience a lot more affordable and enjoyable. While I appreciate the effort put into maintaining the sky walk, it's important to consider the pricing from a visitor's perspective.
Overall, if you're willing to splurge a bit for a unique experience and don't mind the cost, the walk is worth it for the scenic beauty and the chance to explore the Upper canopies. However, if you're looking for a similar experience on a budget, I'd recommend checking out the free Curtis Falls walk nearby.
