Great place for a swim .. 3 pools for differing abilities and ages .. this was called the rock pools when I was a kid. The Entrance Ocean Baths are an absolute gem on the Central Coast of NSW, and the presence of The Entrance Amateur Swimming Club adds an extra layer of charm and community spirit to this wonderful place. Firstly, The Entrance Ocean Baths themselves are a delight. These tidal baths offer a unique opportunity to swim in saltwater while being sheltered from the open sea. The stunning ocean views from the baths are awe-inspiring, and there's nothing quite like the feeling of swimming here, with the waves crashing in the distance. What truly makes the experience exceptional is the presence of The Entrance Amateur Swimming Club. This dedicated group of swimmers adds a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere to the Ocean Baths. They are not only passionate about swimming but also about fostering a sense of community and inclusivity. Whether you're a seasoned swimmer or a newcomer, you'll find their camaraderie and support truly uplifting. The club members, with their enthusiasm and warm welcomes, make the Ocean Baths more than just a place to swim; it's a place to connect with fellow swimmers who share a love for the water. Their events and activities, often organized for swimmers of all levels, make it easy for anyone to join in the fun. During the Summer months the main pool is used for their Competition Nights and they yearly season end championships are usually held on a weekend. Overall, The Entrance Ocean Baths, combined with the presence of The Entrance Amateur Swimming Club, offer a five-star experience for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of the ocean and the camaraderie of a welcoming swimming community. It's a must-visit destination on the Central Coast, and I can't recommend it...
Read moreWater was a great temperature just a bit cloudy. Floor of pools were a little slippery and the ramp. Not too crowded which was great. Fairly clean except for ladies toilets. 2 out of 3 did not flush and there were used tampons on the floor. If you don't want people flushing them down the loo or leaving them on the floor please provide a bin. Is it too much to ask? Also there are oysters in the overflow channells with no warning signs. Kids and adults grab hold and fingers get sliced as you can't see them till you really look in close. Could this be fixed up please. Oyster cuts are not pleasant. They have bench seating which is shaded which was great too. They also had a...
Read moreWhat's so great about this pool? It's free🤗 I have been trying to get some early morning swims here which is a great time to go. Not too many people. Always plenty of spots to go leave your bags and towels. At certain times, there is a lifeguard on duty. I believe they clean the pools on Tuesday, so don't go then😄 Beach is right next to it.. so you can go for a stroll after your swim. Parking may be a little tricky as the main road can get a...
