**Gold Coast Catch a Crab and Fishes Tour Review** ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently had the absolute pleasure of going on the Catch a Crab and Fishes tour on the Gold Coast, and I can honestly say it was one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had in a long time! From the moment we arrived at the tour's starting point, we were greeted by the friendly and knowledgeable staff. Their enthusiasm was contagious! They took time to explain everything about the tour, including safety procedures and what we could expect during our time on the water. It was evident that they were passionate about marine life and crabbing, which set a positive tone for the entire day. The tour began with a scenic cruise through the beautiful waters of the Gold Coast. The views were stunning, with lush mangroves and wildlife all around us. I truly appreciated the opportunity to soak in the natural beauty while learning about the ecosystem. Our guide shared fascinating insights into the local wildlife, discussing the various species that inhabit the area and the importance of sustainable practices in fishing and crabbing. Once we arrived at the crabbing grounds, the excitement was palpable! We were divided into small groups, each equipped with crab traps and all the necessary gear. The staff provided us with tips on how to set the traps effectively. It was thrilling to wait and see what we might catch. To our delight, we managed to catch several large crabs, which felt like a huge achievement. The thrill of reeling in a big one was an experience I'll never forget! Another highlight of the tour was fishing in the local waters. Each participant had the opportunity to try their hand at catching fish. The crew was incredibly helpful, providing bait and instructions for those of us who may not have much experience with fishing. I ended up catching a nice-sized bream, which was exhilarating! It felt fantastic to connect with nature and learn new skills in such a beautiful setting. Throughout the trip, we were offered plenty of refreshments, including delicious snacks and drinks. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun, encouraging camaraderie among the participants. I loved chatting with fellow guests and sharing stories of our catches. As the day progressed, the crew demonstrated how to cook and prepare the crabs we had caught. They even engaged us in a little taste-testing session, which was absolutely delicious! Savoring the fruits of our labor after a day of crabbing and fishing made the experience even more satisfying. One of the aspects I appreciated the most was the emphasis on sustainability. The crew talked about responsible fishing practices and the importance of preserving marine life for future generations. It was refreshing to see a company that genuinely cares about the environment. Overall, the Gold Coast Catch a Crab and Fishes tour exceeded all my expectations. It was a perfect mix of adventure, education, and relaxation. The staff were fantastic, the scenery was breathtaking, and the memories we made will last a lifetime. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun day out on the water! Whether you're a seasoned fisherman or a complete novice, you won't regret this wonderful experience. Can’t wait to come back for another round!

Absolutely fantastic experience, from the pre setoff seagull feeding (while waiting for all the passengers to arrive) to the cruise for the crab catching, yabby pumping, fishing was great. We pulled up 3 crabs, pumped up a bunch of yabbies and mini baby crabs on the sand banks but was unable to catch any fishes (but some other passengers managed to catch some decent fishes!). The complimentary beverages and snacks was welcoming and the guide was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of interesting information. we only got wet to our shin. So wearing Bermudas or shorts is fine. you will go down barefoot on to the sand banks so best to wear slippers or aqua shoes for the trip. We signed up for the lunch package and it was not bad too. Lunch was served back on land at the restaurant. The seafood platter includes crab, fish and chips and salad. Fish and chips is as the name implies - fish and chips with salad. Free water is available. Free parking outside the compound is available if you are driving. We enjoyed ourselves and this is one experience we will not soon forget and would recommend this to anyone.

Very great experience. Catch a crab was very unique and special. Booking in advance is a must. Main focus was to catch a crab. Pumping yabbis and oyster farm visit was depend on tide condition. This round we missed yabbies and oyster farm. But pulling the crab trap out of water and saw the crabs trapped inside the trap was eye opener. Listened to commentary about oyster, crab and fishing was interesting. The only cons is the transport. Coming from gold coast surfers paradise must booking with uber about AUD60 per way for 40 minutes. But return trip was very challenging. No uber want to take us from this remote location. There was a bus station in the entrance road of catch a crab tour but the bus only operate one to 2 trip per day. End up We need to walk 1km to nearest bus stop and take a 601 bus to nearest city then take another bus 700 to broadbeach South station. The return trip took us 2 and a half hours include walking, waiting time, transit and bus duration.

Very disappointing trip, Totally not worth the money and waste of time, I paid $220 for our small two adults two children family not including lunch, and was expecting much of this big money, but nothing! The boat didn’t depart on time, We waited more that half an hour seated on the boat bec they said a big group was coming!! After the big group came there were no places for them to sit, so they had to reseat and squeeze us in the existing tables so they can bring in more tables and chairs on the boat for the new comers, very rude and unprofessional. The boat was overcrowded after adding the new tables. The catching a crab was so different to what they advertise on the photo! No girl holding a crab or anything! Just a cage previously put in the water and all what you have to do is pull it off and see how many crabs were previously put for u and smile and take a photo!!! And you’re not allowed to have the crabs. Fishing time was totally miserable, no place for everyone to stand beside a window to fish, no spots bec the boat was overcrowded, We had to literally swab with each others the limited available spots, and my fishing rod formed a knot with other person’s rod bec too many rods and not enough spots. The journey took about two and a half hours. At the end the food was very pricey and very limited quantities. There are other attractions in the Gold Coast for less price and you can spend more time and really enjoy, This one totally not...

No time for crab catching, I visited with my wife and kids in normal day. There are 4 activities in total feeding seagull around 15 mins, fishing 20 mins, catching bait 20 mins and pulling out a rope with a cage which may be preload with crab in only 10 seconds. The time is very rush and we were urge to move out from the end of the boat and we even dont have time to take a photo in how we put out the rope. The arrangement is awful.

If you want to experience pulling out a rope in 10 second with A$70 it is the place to go.

Apart from that the food is overpriced and the quality is poor

I can say that the staff is nice but in general it not worth to go.

After reading the reply from the owner, they are really overclaiming that they do not provide oyster farm demonatration, no pelican feeding it is seagull, no crab show, no crab holding. Just a guy using 30 second to tell u how to distinguish male and female crab.

They mention the service will be rush and poor in high season, It is further more disappointed. As a matter of fact, thy

They are giving free voucher for next visit but who are willing to fly a long way and waste...
