Hubby & l have been a member of Seagulls going on 30years, we have seen the club changes in that time (l'm sure we own part of it!!) Staff have come & gone, but you couldn't ask for more friendly, courtious, kind, caring, respectful, & there are quite a few who go out of their way-to really give time & effort & support-well done !! The food is delish on ground floor-go early-gets extremely busy & full on, staff there are great to. The TAB is set out different, as they also have a huge screen - of course, (and other tellies) raffles are held here also. Live bands perform here.outside is a huge area ,for eating, & for the kids to run around . Seagulls at the moment are refurbishing, so the bar area is the same,to the right of this is poker machine area, leading out to a smokers area, also a great view of the river grrreat, but a outdoor area, NOT FOR CHILDREN. THERE IS A LIFT FOR THE UPSTAIRS ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET, AWESOME SELECTION ,:;SUSHI TRAIN, DESSERTS, FRUITS, HOT BAKED BREAD & BUTTER PUDDING, APPLE CRUMBLE, THERE IS SALADS, PASTAS, CHINESE, PRAWNS, CRAB LEGS,BAKED TATS, PUMPK, DUCK, THE LIST IS ENDLESS, & WORTH THE MONEY, STAFF ARE EXCELLENT,FRIENDLY, TABATINKA IS THE PLACE TO BE FOR CHILDREN,WOW, WORTH A TRY , LOOK & EAT. (THERE IS SO MANY SPORTS EVENTS THROUGH THE CLUB) SO IF I HAVE MISSED THINGS, MMM, COME SEE FOR...

Seagulls is an alright place for a local club, but its not on the same level as the nearby Twin Towns. Drink prices aren't too bad, They have your TAB, Pokies etc. Poker nights weekly, membership cash draws and all your standard club stuff. They hold outdoor family events a few times a year with fireworks, carnival rides, food trucks etc which are alright for a family afternoon out. There is a buffet and an A la Carte restaurant. The buffet is OK, it has actually been declining in quality since they first opened though. Lot 2 is the other restaurant and is pretty decent for a club restaurant, they have some very nice wood fired pizzas, club staples and a few other items that mix it up a bit. Decent steak but not great. There's a gym attached to the club but not included in the membership. My wife goes and thinks it's alright. There is a kids indoor play centre called Tabatinga. It's one of the better ones we've been too. Not included in club membership but fairly priced. They have a putt putt course as well and a foam ball gun arena. Kids parties are pretty good, so nice to have it all taken care of for you and not too pricey either. They have various sporting clubs as well which I...

We visited Seagulls Club in Tweed Heads for the first time, hoping to have a nice meal with family, but unfortunately, our experience at reception with a staff member was very disappointing.

As first-time visitors, we didn’t know the process of registering as guests. We didn’t have our physical IDs with us, and instead of explaining the requirement in a welcoming and understanding way, a guy from reception told us quite bluntly and “not so nicely” that in NSW we should always carry physical IDs. As new migrants in Australia, we felt singled out and spoken to in a way that made us uncomfortable.

Later, when my mother-in-law quickly followed my toddler towards the restaurant, the same guy stopped her and told her she needed to register first, again in an unfriendly tone. We completely understand that rules must be followed, but the way things were communicated lacked courtesy and understanding.

It would have made a big difference if he had spoken more politely and explained the process in a way that helped us feel welcomed instead of judged. First impressions matter, and unfortunately, this left us with a...

A fantastic place to park up for a night or 2 in their back car park on the water. Clean safe tidy place, very friendly food and great 24hr gym. No problem parking there, felt safe, was offered to fill water up, and I used the showers at the gym to save my water tanks. Highly recommended to eat there, great wide choice of food. But stay away from their porkies, they weren't as friendly to me as much as the staff were. Lol. I'm a an x executive chef, and was impressed with the quality of the food for the price. Fellow campervan people stop here and say hello, please use their facilities so they keep letting us park here free.

Baby animals and James Reyne were great to see at good old Seagulls. However, it's really unfortunate that the staff at Seagulls were completely hopeless!!! Seagulls needs bands like this to frequent the place though, if the staff are useless, slow and out of their league 😒 People will be annoyed, as we were. Waited in line for 20 minutes then told they only except cash?!?! The reason we later learned was because they ran out of receipt roll?? And only 1 register per bar. Seagulls, please do better so you can be the best that you could and should be.

Our local Club. Great position looking out over the river. Pleasant staff and courteous service at the cafe. Can get quite busy now that there are NO restrictions. Heaps of parking and bring a fishing line just in case. There are special guests most weekends and the usual raffles Friday/Sunday. This club will cater for special events and functions with a catering option. The back deck is fantastic. Plenty of seating both inside and out with a river view that’s constantly changing.
